The Quotation from ¡¸Somun(áÈÙý)¡¹ to Four Books in Su(âÉ) and Dang(ÓÐ) Period
Kika Urayama

Abstract
The popular edition of Hwangenaegyeongsomun(?ð¨??áÈÙý), was established by wangbing(èÝ?)¡¯s revising and annexing notes in the Dang( Period. He revised ¡¸Jeonwongibon(îïêªÑÃÜâ)¡¹ which became the edition we currently know widely. To know how ¡¸Somun(áÈÙý)¡¹ had been handed down from the Su(âÉ) Period to the Dang(ÓÐ) Period before the establishment of Wangbing(èÝ?) ¡¯s edition, we reviewed the citation of rsomun in the four books: ¡¸Ohaengdaeui(çéú¼ÓÞëù)¡¹, ¡¸Jebyeongwonhuron(ð³Ü»ê¹ý¥Öå)¡¹, ¡¸Sagijeong-ui(ÞÈÑÀïáëù)¡¹and ¡¸Oedaebiyobang(èâÓæÝúé©Û°)¡¹.

As a result, it has been discovered that even if the reference was written as ¡¸Hwangesomun(?ð¨áÈÙý)¡¹or ¡¸Somun(áÈÙý)¡¹, they did not correspond with the currently established ¡¸Somun?Ùý)¡¹, in many cases. On the other hand, there were identical sentences to the current ¡¸Somun(áÈÙý)¡¹, among the cited parts; whereas ¡¸YeoIron(æðÖå)¡¹, and¡¸Jahakron(í©?Öå)¡¹were often cited in the medical books such as ¡¸lebyeongwonhuronî¹Ü»ê¹ý¦Öå)¡¹, and ¡¸Oedaebiyobang(èâÓæÝú驪«¡¹, ¡¸YeoIron(æðÖå)¡¹, and ¡¸Jahakron(í©?Öå)¡¹, were often cited. Thus, we can suggest that the relevant content of ¡¸Somun(?Ùý)¡¹ should be considered important in the period in question and further that the concept of disease symptom might have changed in those days.
